Daniele Federici became the winner of the junior category of the 17th edition of the Rok Cup Superfinal. Three Polish drivers took part in the grand final. The highest position was taken by Karol Pasiewicz.
Over a hundred drivers from all over the world competed in the Junior Rok category in Lonato. There were ten Poles in the group, only three of whom successfully passed the qualifications. Karol Pasiewicz, Piotr Protasiewicz and Gustaw Wiśniewski stood up to fight for the main trophy, but after a few laps of the final it was clear that Poles would not play a key role in this race. Karol Pasiewicz took the highest, 10th position in the rate, Piotr Protasiewicz checked in at the finish in 16th position, and Gustaw Wiśniewski finally finished in 28th place.
Junior category was dominated by Italians. Let this be evidenced by the fact that, apart from the Pole, only the American, … racing in the Italian team was in the top ten. The other eight leaders were Italian drivers. Daniele Federici, definitely one of the best drivers of the Italian season of Rok appeared as the first at the finish line. Federici won the runner-up in the northern zone of the Rok Cup in Italy, in the world final he won pole position and third place in the classifications. In the grand final, he beat his most dangerous rival, Pietro Ragnone, and the next place was taken by another of the fast Italians, Michael Paparo.
Poles, appearing in this category in the global finals in large numbers, were rather the background for Italian leaders, although several of them were among the leaders. Gustaw Wiśniewski in the fight for pole position won seventh place, and in the qualifications he noted 11 points, recording the second and third place in the races. Karol Pasiewicz also flashed in the heats, but second place in one of them is not enough to win a good starting position to the grand final.
Gustaw Wiśniewski was clearly unlucky in the final. He started from the eighth position, but after the first circle, as a result of the incident, he fell very far. Finally, he scored a drop of 18th position.
Karol Pasiewicz broke through during the 16 final circles by 6 places and eventually landed as closing the top ten.
The third Pole had the most overtaking in the final. Piotr Protasiewicz moved from the 31st starting field, and finished 16th at the finish line. Protasiewicz’s „+ P15” is a good result in the most important race of the season.
We saw four Polish drivers in the final B of the event. Jakub Rajski finished in 5th place, Karol Czepiel in 8th, Olaf Tyrakowski in 21st, and Kamil Grabowski did not finish the competition.
Gabriela Skrobacz and Kinga Wójcik said goodbye after the qualifying races. Adam Piszczako withdrew just before the event.
